Hello everyone! Sorry I have been a little MIA, life got crazy and honestly I haven't done a ton of grocery shopping lately.
Today I want to just talk about digital coupons at your local Kroger store. This ONE thing can make a huge difference on your budget, and it is WAY easy. Each store has their own app so you can do it all from your phone (that is if you phone cooperates which mine does not).
A close friend of mine is having a baby so I actually looked at the baby category coupons. There were coupons on Huggies, Luvs, and Pampers Diapers and you save anywhere from $1 to $3 per package. And with how many diapers you buy with a new little one you SHOULD be using these coupons. Besides diapers there were coupons on Johnson's Baby products, Destin products, PullUps, Organic Baby Food, Similac or Enfamil (yes formula has a coupon), Playtex bottles, and a few other items. And this is just 1 of many categories of coupons.
My point is that there are coupons on most of the things you are buying anyway. Yogurt, cookies, cheese, shampoo, hair product, soap, cleaners, frozen foods (aka easy dinners), baby, yogurt, pet food/treats. And the best part is that on Friday's there is ALWAYS a coupon for you to get something FREE. Today's item is a FREE Lindor Milk Chocolate Egg. I'll be grabbing it before the 20th when it expires (because the coupon is always good for a couple weeks). And it's FREE! All I had to do was log in and load it to my card. Easy, especially since I was already on the computer anyway.
Point is... you are using your card anyway to save money at the store (if not you should be because it's free), so why not take 5 minutes to set your account up and save even more. AND the more you use your card and the digital coupons the more the store will help you save. Eventually you'll have paper coupons sent to you that has free items and coupons for the things you buy regularly. Plus eventually you'll get coupons to get a Personal Price on the items you buy regularly (I even get a personal price on produce sometimes).
Load those coupons and save away!
Happy Saving!
